Wonderful, large, and classic venue that we saw a great musical performance by Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers. The sound quality was wonderful, and the acoustics were fantastic!! It was formerly a public school, but not remodeled into a McMenamins facility that houses bars and restaurants. Give them a try if you are in the neighborhood. You will be glad you did!!
My wife and I came here a couple weeks ago to watch a comedy show, this place is interesting because it used to be an old high school turned into restaurants and bars. The roof top and on the main level there's bars, seems to be popular. Luckily the show only lasted an hour because the seats began to feel uncomfortable but other than that we had a good time here.
The only thing that soured the trip was an automatic 20% gratuity on a flat parking fee if you're not watching for it, but the venue was attentive to this and I'm updating my review. I'm happy to do so, too, because I genuinely enjoyed the visit. I love the school conversion and it has so much character. Bonus for over 21: Another bartender will jump in if the lines get long so unlike some venues, you're not waiting 20 minutes to get another drink!
